"Many definitions have been used to define social innovation. To me, social innovation is to create solutions to social and/or environmental challenges, in a new ways. It's the capacity to match some of the most pressing problems with solutions that are not immediately obvious. I currently give workshops and create personalised idea accelerators, that use different methodologies that put people in the centre, and empower them as change agents both as intra or entrepreneurs locally and globally. If interested in learning more about personalized workshops and courses, please contact me here for more information. "
There are many tools that are used in the start-up world. It is the process and combination of these tools, accompanied with the right facilitation that makes them extremely powerful. That is the concept behind personalised idea accelerators. Putting together a combination of processes that together find the right challenges to solve, and then creatively solve them in sustainable models is what accelerators can do. Startup Pirates (2012) and TarracoLab (2013) are two samples of the power behind accelerators. Have a look!
Startup Pirates is a one-week acceleration program for entrepreneurs in the making.
